Ingredients

Prepare the Chocolate

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler, melt 4 oz of dark chocolate with 2 tsp of heavy cream. Stir frequently until smooth and creamy.

Layer the Cups

  1. Line a small muffin or silicone mold with paper liners or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.

  2. Pour a small amount of the melted chocolate mixture into the base of each mold to form the first layer.

  3. Add a sprinkle of salted peanuts and a small spoonful of ground almonds to the chocolate layer for a crunchy texture.

  4. Pour the remaining melted chocolate mixture over the peanuts and almonds to fully cover them.

  5. Use a spoon to smooth the tops if necessary.

  6. Sprinkle a slight dusting of ground almonds on top.

Chill and Set

  1. Place the molds into the refrigerator or freezer for 30–45 minutes or until the chocolate is completely firm.
